Hayley

Hayley first started working part time for S C Miller Ltd in May 2003 during her gap year before starting university. In October 2003 she started studying for a degree in Accounting and Finance at Southampton University. During the three-year course she was able to continue working part time for the firm, which helped her fund her tuition fees and university lifestyle! The practical experience also helped her to apply the knowledge she was gaining from her course. In July 2006 Hayley passed her degree with first class honours.
By then the firm had successfully applied to be registered as a training organisation and were then able to offer Hayley a full time position with S C Miller Ltd to train as a chartered accountant. Hayley has lived in Bishops Waltham all her life and enjoys the close-knit community lifestyle, so she considered herself fortunate to have found such a good job locally and was very pleased to accept.
In 2007 Hayley married Adam and they bought a house together in Bishops Waltham. Hayley really enjoyed the challenge of working and studying hard, and in December of 2008 her efforts paid off when she passed her final ACA exams and was accepted for membership of the ICAEW in September 2009.
In her spare time Hayley likes to keep fit by swimming at least two times a week and regularly takes part in Pilates classes.
